July 7: Celebrating Ryan and Remembering Michael  / Kerry Manning
I was particularly moved today during Michael Jackson's memorial service when Usher sang "Gone Too Soon." I was unfamiliar with the song but looked it up online tonight because the lyrics really spoke to my heart. I was quickly reminded of the beautiful link to Ryan White, to his life and his legacy. My mother passed away in June of 1990, just a few months after Ryan, and had spoken of a dream she had of walking alongside Ryan shortly after his death and before she herself died. Today's poignant performance of "Gone Too Soon" by Usher in remembrance of Michael Jackson brought it all back to me. It truly reminded me of the fragility of life and the beautiful connection between all of us. I remember Ryan vividly to this day, his courage and his example. I am thankful I witnessed how this wonderful young man handled himself in the face of great adversity. When I look at the video on MTV, I can only pause and smile through the tears. He and Michael are now at peace... together. Joy and celebration abound in Heaven tonight.

You've been a good boy!!  / Charis Leones (Fan)

hi I first saw ryan in the video of micheal jackson on myx it's a show here in the philippines where they payed tribute to the pop star...well i was curios about the song "Gone too soon" where a beautiful boy was featured...so I searched it in the internet.

When I read about his life...i was crying inside..for Ryan has fought for his life knowing that there are people who judged him..but still he remained strong!! and that inspired me the most about him..

I am now 18 years old... that video of Ryan has a big impact on me and I think it also did the same for many people..not just in america but all over the world!!

Even though I have'nt met him...but i admire him.... and for the things that he has done in his young life..he has been a good boy..and i knoe it for sure!!

God Bless!!

JUST A FEW WORDS  / KENTRELL FONTENOT (NONE)
MY MOTHER IS A PCA. SHE WORKS AT A GROUP HOME THAT HOUSES HIV/AIDS VICTIMS. MOST PEOPLE ARE SO IGNORANT TO THE DISEASE THAT THEY FAIL TO REALIZE WHAT EFFECTS IT HAS UPON THE PERSON. NOT ALL PEOPLE GET IT THROUGH BEING SEXUALLY ACTIVE OR HOMOSEXUAL. I'VE COME TO LEARN BY EDUCATING MYSELF I NOW CAN'T BE APART OF THOSE ASSUMING TYPE PEOPLE. HIV/AIDS HAS NO FACE, CREED, OR RACE...THE PERSON NEXT TO YOU CAN HAVE IT AND YOU WON'T KNOW UNLESS THEY TELL YOU. I HOPE THROUGH HIS FOUNDATION PEOPLE WILL BECOME MORE OPEN-MINDED TO LEARNING ABOUT IT AND MAKING OTHERS AWARE OF IT.

Ryan (king)  / J. Paul
The meaning of the name Ryan: "Ryan is an Irish name meaning 'little king' A person worthy of the name Ryan is indeed a person of true royalty." Ryan White, that is perfect for you. You certainly were like a king. Quote from book Conversations with God: A true Master is not the one with the most students, but one who creates the most Masters. A true leader is not the one with the most followers, but one who creates the most leaders. A true teacher is not the one with the most knowledge, but one who causes the most others to have knowledge. A true king is not the one with the most subjects, but one who leads the most to royalty. Ryan, you meet all four. You are a true Master, leader, teacher, and king. If anyone is a leader, and a teacher, and a man, it's YOU. You have done more for this world than it could have done for you. You taught us more than we could have taught you. This world has no idea how lucky it is, to simply have had you in it. You were indeed gone too soon, but when you were here, you taught those who were ignorant, lifted fears, touched millions (and continue to touch lives), and accomplished more than many people who live long, healthy lives. Thank you, Ryan.

i know it's too late nowmy condolence.  / Jan Elizabeth Danielle Mendiola (None But i was amaze by him )
I'm Danielle and i'm 15 years old.. I really don't know who he was what are the things he have been through. When Michael Jackson (RIP) passed away i started viewing his musics and videos from that moment i saw his video entitled " Gone Too Soon " even that time i had no ideas that refers to the boy in that video. Viewing that video touched my heart so I got curious so i search his name in the internet - thanks to internet because it is the way i knew Ryan White. I read his story and it gave me a broken heart for the things he been through and for the people who stands by him at the very end. And i felt hatred for those people who had a wrong point of view in him. They didn't give their time to know what he feels inside instead kicking out him to school went to justice for giving a file of they didn't want Ryan to go to school where their kids might have a sickness as him. And giving him a feeling of being alone and more over than they don't want to know him or even seat near by him.  I hope in the time when Ryan was living those people who surrounds him must give him love and care for his situation. But what they gave to him were hurtful words didn't respect his side. Ryan showed that he really loved his life and before  spreading his wings to fly up where many are waiting for him he taught us how to love those who were have a sickness the same as him. And gave us a strength to keep moving forward and believing in ourselves. He had a very sweet heart to forgave those who treated him bad.
Miss Him  / Miss. Jewel Toews (a fan of his )

That is so sad that is he gone he is such a nice kid  why did he had to suffer  now people  should learn from this   what he suffered from

hope we find a cure soon   ryan white is happy in heaven now

no more suffering   at least he got to meet ej    before

Your legacy still lives on  / Renee (Fan)

I remember 1st hearing about Ryan while watching the made for TV movie, The Ryan White Story. This movie broke my heart.  I didn't understand how people could be so cruel to treat him this way for something totally beyond his control.  I'm glad that Ryan's legacy is still living on through the foundation.  He seemed to be such a sweet boy and I'm sure he will always be missed.

Best of luck to the boy who taught us all to love....
